| My friend davehr (also on this fan site) and I went to see Tarja's Live Show at the Filmore in NYC, and it was absolutely spectacular! We were in the first row and took great videos and pictures of her and the band. You can see his listing under the Media Section here. This was the first time that we saw Tarja Live in person on stage - she really is a great performer, and is even more beautiful than her pictures, as well as having a truely beautiful voice. It was also really great that the Security people there allowed everyone there to take pictures and videos of her performance, and Tarja was very friendly and outgoing to the audience which made you feel like she was personally singing to you. Since all of her fans made her feel very welcome, I hope she will give us another opportunity in her coming back again to New York on a future tour of the United States. Now that I've seen her once --- more....more....more! Thanks, Snowstorm |

| I went to the NYC concert and it was amazing. Tarja really made the effort to make some kind of eye contact at the people in the audience. Sometimes it seemed she would notic u where trying to take a picture and it seemed like she posed for u.she really seemed to be enojying to be there. It was my first time seeing Tarja and it was amazing. I waited 5 years to finally see her and it was totally worth it. After the concert I waited and i met Maria Alex and the cello player( i keep forgetting his name.) And also I met Marcelo, he was really nice and sweet. I made him sign my CD and he told me he didnt want to mess up the front so i said to sign it in the back but he had to sign it lol. We had a little conversation in spanish so he was really cool and sweet. Alll in All i hope she will come back cause it seems like NYC is a place for her to break out and reach her fanatics |

| Thanks for your reply. Check out the media section on this site where my friend davehr is making available some pictures and videos (with thanks also to our fanclub president). Nice that you met some of the band members and got an autograph! It was freezing outside (and we dressed light), so we didn't hang around afer the show, although it would have been nice to catch some of the group (or even Tarja -- someone on the line said he was waiting for 4 hours to get in and told us that he saw her and got her autograph....lucky guy! An old saying goes "the early bird catches the worm" probably outdated by now, but apparently still true. We had early entry tickets, and still had to wait for 2 hours to get in -- but it was certainly worth it, and was a wonderful experience! Hope Tarja is very successful with this U.S. tour, and that it will encourage her to return to the US many more times, so we can continue to see her again. |

| I was kind of flustered when I met Tarja after the SF show lol. I kept my cool, and everyting was awesome, but I wasn't flawless. I gave Tarja a Sharpie marker to sign my MWS with, and then when she gave it back to me I forgot to put the cap back on and pocketed it. Then when another fan needed a pen, I took mine out for him to use and got ink all over my hand. lol. |

| I too was very surprised by the excitement of the crowd in New York, all 400 of us! And I was even more surprised 3 nights later at the Nokia where Nightwish sold out 4,000. I came all the way from Tampa Florida for these concerts, and I feel very fortunate to have been at the Fillmore. As for the Nokia concert, well, I cringed at times during the older songs....enough said. I'm still wondering why only 400 tickets sold for the Fillmore, well it made it easier to get up close but I felt bad for Tarja. Romanov Dynasty |

| I got to see her twice this year (ooh lucky me!) both at the same Venue in Pratteln Switzerland.
I wrote a last.fm journal review about the one on June 30th but haven't done so yet for the one on September 29th.. when I get it done I will link to it
Tarja Concert Pratteln 6.30.09
I also took many pictures and video of the September concert. The videos are on my youtube page under an aptly named playlist and the photos I have shared with the site's main page. |
