| In this topic, talk about Nightwish (with Tarja, to be clear) concerts you've been at.
And if I'm here, I'll start. I saw Nightwish live in 30th September 2005, in Bucharest. I didn't sleep the night before, and the next day I had to catch the train at a very early hour... but long live the coffee!  We were three girls who left together, but in the train we met other people and in the end when we arrived to Bucharest we were about 15 
The concert started at 8pm, but we were allowed in the concert hall at 6. After a sweet and nice adventure in which I was about to lose my ticket, because a guy stole it from me and the bodyguard saw him and grabbed him and gave me my ticket back, and my water was confiscated because maybe I had the face of someone evil who would put vodka into a water bottle and after drinking it would throw the empty bottle on the stage to hit someone, we managed to enter... Well inside, the usual atmosphere: people in black, NW T-shirts, long hair at everybody, lather jackets etc. We managed to get a place near the stage, but some of the people wanted to sit down so they went somewhere up, and also took all the baggages AND the camera with them 
In the end the band came on the stage, the public went like      and HUH they started to sing... I don't remember the songs' order, I think they started with Dark Chest of Wonders and went on with Kinslayer, and they had some sound problems because I couldn't hear Tarja's voice until the middle of Kinslayer and then at Wishmaster. And then it was ok, I could hear her voice perfectly, but this time I couldn't hear the keyboards and the guitars sounded like sh*t  Anyway Tarja looked so beautiful and at one moment I'm sure I had eye-contact with her  Later, the boys left the stage, and Tarja looked back as if she was wondering wtf are these people doing  Then she slowly came to the microphone and with a very sweet and shy voice she said "Look, the guys left me alone on the stage" and looked back again... And the public was like Tarja then said "Well looks like I'll sing to you, alone  " We started screaming "Go ahead, sing to us!!!" "But this one is in Finnish", she said again. We said "It doesn't matter, just sing!!" and she sang what's the Finnish song's name from Once (I saw at concert recordings that the guys did this at every show, she was left alone on the stage for singing it, but they didn't tell her anything this time, they just disappeared from the stage ) At that song, I was in trance. So beautiful... it was the most beautiful song from the whole concert 
And another very beautiful performance was Ghost Love Score. Wish I had an Angel also sounded great...
And when the concert was over, everybody was like It was great!!! If you want, I'll post some pics, but they're very unclear and taken from far away, because as I sad already the girls took the camera with them upstairs |
