Satyrian- Eternitas (Anyone else know Satyrian? Lead vocal is Kemi Vita from The Dreamside. It's more goth-rock/trance than metal, but still appealing) Kamelot- Across the Highlands Elis- Show Me the Way (w/ Sabine Dunser) Edguy- The Headless Game (LOVE this song, and band [power metal, not symphonic]) Edenbridge- Whisper of the Ages Unshine- Not For Me I'm on Pandora, just listed the last 5 songs that played and the one that's currently playing. Switching stations of course.. I don't mix my metal genres. I have a Symphonic metal station, a Power metal station, a Goth Rock/Trance station, one for Classical music, and one that's just a mix of all metal; including death metal.

I'm with you, Petdawg, regarding April Rain. I love the song. It's kind of "poppy", like of Nightwish, with Annette (oh dear, will that get me kicked out of the forum?). The lyrics are more uplifting than anything Tuomas would ever write, though. I also like Never Enough by Epica, and Spellbound by Lacuna Coil (although that's the only song by Lacuna Coil I have found that I like. Hey, am I allowed to like American bands with male lead singers? (Disturbed, Shinedown, anyone?) Or am I being too "establishment"?

Bad Boy, by Cascada. Because trance never gets old. **at previous poster** Like what you want to like, everyone is entitled to their opinion even though some peoples are quite quite wrong. My philosophy is "If it sounds good, listen." _________________

Cool. Thanks, Ruger. Does this mean I can freely post how much I like KISS . . . and Madonna? I would venture to guess that if we had a contest about who had the worst collection of artists on their Ipod, you probably wouldn't have to get through the letter "C" on mine before declaring me the winner. However, in my defense--no Yankee Doodle Poodle . . . yet.

I love the whole April Rain album. It is defiantely the best cd I have bought this year so far. I am so looking forward to seeing Delain at MFVF 7 in Belgium. I am not much for the American metal sceen, but I must admit I really like Disturbed. I would definately like to catch them in concert sometime soon. Dawg

I see nothing wrong with liking "Kiss" as they are f**k amazing. Madonna, eh, different strokes. And when it comes to obscure music I'm the last one who is going to judge you. I have over 16000 songs on my computer, and they are all across the board. _________________

Let's have a discussion of our very worst music existing on our iPods at the moment...OK I'll start: Poison - Talk Dirty To Me. Brett Michaels and his retarded TV programs make me retch....why I have this song on my pod is unexplainable. I mean, I really don't know how it got there! I even saw their concert recently in Tampa...what a revelation...how did they "make it" ? I can't begin to describe how badly they suck, ..... they left me speechless. And has anybody heard their cover album? OK now I've gone and made myself upset. RD

Worst songs on ipods... hmmm.... i try to purge my ipod of bad stuff for space... 20 years of snow by Regina Spektor is the most discordant awful song i think is still on there. lol but i can't think of any truly bad songs... i'm going to have to think on that one

Poison? That's the worst you can come up with? I'll grant you, it's not good, but in the grand scheme of things--you could do worse. At least they're still touring. Step aside and let a pro show you how: Let's see, I'll start with "A" . . . ABBA (oh admit it, everyone has them, it's kind of a badge of courage), Ace of Base (or ABBA, Redux . . . not terrible . . .), Al Stewart (does anyone even know who he is?), The Alan Parsons Project (Yech, I'm really showing my age, now), Alannah Miles (she was hot, at one time--though not musically), Aldo Nova (another one hit wonder, but Fantasy is still an awesome song), Amber (I don't even know who she is! And what the hell is she doing on my Ipod?!), Amy Grant??? (OK, here's where the wheels really come off. I feel dirty). I can't even share with you some of the crap I have under the letter "C" (how appropriate). I'll get banned from the forum forever (if I haven't been already . . .). |

Venurajt - I'm not so totally offended by your worst-of. Maybe it's because we're of the same age bracket? Yes you're correct Alannah Miles was hot! At least you didn't have any Billy Joel ... do you? Could it be that Billy Joel is even more detestable than Brett Michaels? Is this even possible? yes it is ... no wait ...OK I'm angry again. Abba - hot factor. Ace of Base - definite hot factor. Alan Parsons ?? Why?? No redeeming value, unlistenable, even "back in the day" it sucked badly, no good for anything, no good for dates, not cool by any definition. OK Alan Parsons is abhorent, ... maybe worse than The Brett ... maybe
