When and how did you hear of Tarja?

First.. I was searching thru some Youtube vids and was watching a "V For Ventetta" video and the song that was playing was Bless The Child. I thought.. Hell this song is cool.. so I searched out Nightwish and was just amazed by Tarja's vocals ! I had never heard of "Anyone" sing like her...[i]

Well, a couple of years ago, a friend of mine allowed me to listen to some Nightwish songs on her Ipod and I really liked it, but at first I wasn't all like "Wooooow" but then I bought all the Nightwish CDs and then came the "Woooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww" and I've been hooked ever since.... barely ever going a whole day without listening to Tarja's voice

I heard about Nightwish and Tarja in 2004 when I saw Nemo and Wish I Had An Angel video on VIVA. And I really loved those songs. Tarja's voice seemed so powerful and beautiful to me. Then I listened to some other their songs but I didn't become a fan, somehow I forgot their music. But in summer 2007 I read from newspaper that Nightwish have new vocalist somehow I started listening to them again and now I'm big big fan of Tarja and Nightwish . Tarja is my favourite singer and Nightwish is my favourite band

In 2000-2001, I heard Sleeping Sun at a friend's place, then he gave me Angels Fall First (full album) and Oceanborn (again full album)... and the rest is history. Not interested in the new NW, for me NW are dead. I love the singer Tarja and I respect and admire the person Tarja. I'm sure she's a great person, though I don't know her.

My friend gave me 10th Man Down, and I liked it, then another friend gave me Angels Fall First and Slaying The Dreamer, and I liked the Nightwish more, and then I heard Come Cover Me, and then whole Wishmaster and fell in love with them..... And the rest is history...

I hear abou her when she married Marcelo, it was a "revolution" because nobody knew her, but then she did some songs with local group (beto vazquez infinity) and the public accepted her and a lot of fan gropus appeared

I was reading about music groups, then I saw- Nightwish "Ghost love score". I taught the name is very interesting and downloads this song. When I the first time heard, I loved this song. From this time I adore this group. Now I has listened this group three years.

I became a fan through Lacuna Coil, Cristina Scabbia's download festival 2006 on youtube, she kept talking about Tarja Turunen Tarja Turunen, so I had to check her out, I searched them on Project Playlist, and the first song I heard was Nemo, and I loved it!!!!! and after that I met Jess on youtube when I saw one of her videos, I asked her what happened to Tarja, then after that she sent me to links to download stuff, and then after a while we became really good friends, sorrt \\y went off topic, but yousee my point

I wouldn't call my self a fan-atic, but I love her voice. Jess when you introduced it to me I was skeptical about the genre but when I actually listened to an entire song of her's I absolutely loved it.

I've only bought one album since, but I put it in the car every once in awhile

Hmm ..well I had heard of Nightwish, heard them on the radio and stuff occasionally and thought they were pretty good. But I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, until my niece made me listen to more of their stuff and practically brainwashed me into loving them. Now I have like 6 cd's and 2 dvd'sof Nightwish and Tarja's My winter storm cd, and Im about to buy The seer . Thanks Jess!! Xx*Hugs*xX

Hmm for me it was in my Evanescence obsessed-stage and on a forum some people were fighting over who was better Amy Lee of Evanescence or Tarja and I was like "Tarja?" so I searched her up, and I heard either Beauty and the Beast or Nemo first, I really can't remember. You can guess the rest

Found an old Nightwish cd album in a second hand shop and liked it then went looking for more. Really liked Tarja's voice. Now I have everything done by Nightwish and all I can find of Tarja's solo work. Finally found a copy of Beto Vazquez.
