My girlfriend was a big Nightwish fan and well the rest is history. First song I ever heard was Wish I had an Angel or Nemo not sure exactly. Then I was very sad to hear she had been fired and started following her solo stuff that is I think better than alot of her Nightwish songs.

Everyones first songs were Nemo. XD

I remember picking a cd up at the record shop and sampling Wish I Had an Angel and Planet Hell and that is when I fell in love. I mean I had heard of them before but never really taken the second to listen and I am glad I did.

ummm i think i got Century Child from the library and i liked it...but i didn't, you know, listen to it much. it was ok. (i love it now that i have it lol)
then i got Once. lol of course. i think the song that got me officially hooked and in love was Ghost Love Score. it took me a while to love some songs in Once though. Wishmaster & Oceanborn got me truly obsessed.
then of course, her solo cd took it to a whole new level

A Friend brought over End of an era dvd to watch on my 53"big screen i have a nice surround sound system also so we put it in and my jaw hit the ground,I IMMEADEATLY fell in love with tarja on the first note she sang,It was like everytime she sang a note the heavens opened up she connected to me on a spirtual level,I became an instant fan buying everything Tarja did musicaly.Also the day i was introduced to tarja through my friend i had been going through very difficult times i lost my fiance to cancer,lost my good paying job and my home all in a years time at age 30,Through her voice she connected with me instantly,her voice touched and soothed,comforted and gave my soul the strength it was in search for her music and voice really helped me through tough times and im very respectful of her for this,It's exactly what she did to me through her music and her voice and thus why she to me is like an angel.Tarja is one of the only singers who can make me feel so Emotional and connect to me on a more spiritual level with the sound of her voice and her music which is truly heaven in my ears,i so adore her for all she has done for me through her music.Much love and respect always to tarja for giveing me this gift we know as her music.

Friend asked me to check out Nightwish and Tarja, so I watched some of their videos on youtube the first Tarja video I watched was Oasis which I didn't really care for but checked out some others and some she told me were good among those suggested were I walk alone and Die Alive. Thanks Jess.

I have a very close friend who I think of as my little sister, well we were playing Matrix Online and ran into some guy there that invited us to listen to some online radio station, as my sis and I started talking over a few months time we both decided to become online DJ's on this station.
She told me a few times about some group called Nightwish and how awesome they were, specially the lead singer *Tarja* how beautiful her voice was ....... so one thing lead to another and we both joined the station and her first song ever was Phantom of the Opera, from there on out I have been unrighteously entranced by her voice and looks.

My brother accidentally dowloaded Passion and the Opera lol He thought it was funny and was like "Roe, come listen to this haha" and I fell in LOVE with NW, and Tarja in like 30 seconds <3 FATE.

I actually first heard Tarja a long time ago. I heard sleeping sun, but I forgot about it for a while and was introduced to her by my b/f, now fiance . He's like "I have a few albums i know you'll like."....... And he was right! Loved her ever since!!

I first heard Tarja singing on an amature music video on youtube.
The video had clips from one of my favorite movies which is Resident Evil Extinction put together with Nightwish's song, "Nemo". Once I saw the video, I was an instant fan of Nightwish and Tarja.

the first nightwish song i heard was nemo at the end of the cave. i fell in love from the first note of the song till the end. i went out that night and bought once and i bought the rest of the albums shortlt after. thank god for tarja. kat
