I don't know if this is a repeat of a post elsewhere, I'm really lazy and don't feel like looking. But I figured everyone could mention their favorite song that Tarja sings.

As cliche as this is going to sound, I really can't decide between Wishmaster and Ghost Love Score. Both of which cause me to dance around ecstatically when they come one. They are just so EPIC!

THIS IS SO HARD lol.

Tarja is so versital so her voice has become my favorite in so many different ways I dont know if I can just choose ONE!
Ghost Love Score for example is a MASTERPIECE!! but lets be honest, it isn't an all-time demonstration of Tarja's vocal ability. (it's beautiful, it's epic, it's also one of my absolute favorites, but it's also safe).

I'm gonna go with Passion and the Opera, followed closely by The Riddler!

Lol I totally admitted how cliche GLS was, but still. There will always be a place in my heart for the most epic of songs.

Well with Nightwish... i'd have to say Wishmaster... lol
but by herself, Sing for me is my favorite but i've been listening to Oasis and Enough a whole lot recently

Nightwish era:"Gethsemane" and "The Siren"
Tarja solo: "The Reign" and "Sing for me"Because every time i hear this song it makes me feel emotional

Oh cool those songs are so full of emotion,and tarjas voice is so personal and angelic she touches my soul with her voice which is amazing and not many vocals can do that to me,As for a great starter song well from the nightwish era i would go with nemo because it isnt to complex and rocks enough but not to hard or to slow for someone who is new to this style of music and from tarja solo i would say i walk alone for the simple fact that thats i think her trademark song from her solo debut,it also isnt as complex a song as some of the others so once again for someone new to tarja it would give you a happy medium to her songs and style;)

Any of my friends have to listen to GLS, when they ask me who Tarja or Nightwish are. I am yet to find someone that doesn't let their jaw hit the floor when they do. It's just an amazing song. Hands down.

i always make them listen to I walk alone and Nemo. Possibly because IWA is the first solo Tarja song i heard, and Nemo is just one of the best Nightwish songs to get people started on

GLS is a givin haha, it's pretty much my favorite song EVER, but my favorite TARJA song is Our Great Divide, I don't know why *I don't think it's the best one* but it just get's to me <3 That and Sing For Me.

I just decided that She Is My Sin is a prime candidate for a Tarja/Nightwish first impression... It has quite a versital package of sound and ability to it; it's a good summary... after that, hit them with the epic songs (PATO etc), then GLS just to make them realize what they're dealing with. Then play a heavier song like Slaying the Dreamer or Wish I Had an Angel, and then take them by surprise with Sleeping Sun, Walking in the Air, and/or Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijian.
THEN hit them with some 'best of' MWS!
It would take about 45 minutes, minimum, to get the Tarja/Nightwish tour, but hey... it changes lives!! lol.
